Beaumont Parish Hall

Beaumont Parish Hall is well used locally, hosting play groups, community groups, social events and a location for private functions. There is disabled parking and access and the hall is also hired out for private social activities. The main hall incorporates a stage and dance floor and there are kitchen and toilet facilities. Outside, there is a play area, picnic area and playing field adjacent to the hall.

The Hall Committee are responsible for maintaining the hall and they arrange many of the social functions within the parish such as the annual Beetle Drive, bonfire night firework show, a children's Christmas party, and the biannual Craft, Flower and Produce Show, as well as events that celebrate special occasions such as the 2012 commemoration of the Diamond Jubilee of the Queen.

We have now produced our own Facebook page. Click here to view our events or post your comments or pictures. Find us on facebook at "beaumont parish hall cumbria".

New constitution for Beaumont Parish Hall. The Beaumont Parish Hall Management Committee has become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. It will make no difference to the way the hall is run and it will be run by the same Trustees. It will however absolve the Trustees from personal financial responsibility, as we move towards the re structure and future of the Hall. Any comments or questions please contact Harold Bowron on 575010 or any other committee member.

As you probably know, Beaumont Parish Hall is nearing the end of its life and has to be replaced. The hall committee are raising £2500 to get plans drawn up for a new hall. This August, there have been three Sunday afternoons teas which have raised over £270 towards this project. We would like to thank all those who have supported us. Sadly, also during August, one of the wheelie bins was taken from behind the hall and was replaced with a small metal drum. Litter from the overflowing drum was being blown around the hall field. The wheelie bins are used not only by the hall but also by the many walkers who pass through the Parish and kindly bin their rubbish, rather than dropping it to be blown into our gardens. The Parish Hall Committee has had to spend £39 of the £270 raised to replace the missing bin. A donation of £39 would be gratefully received from the person who has taken the bin. This can be done anonymously.
